On a warm October afternoon, I had the pleasure of working one of the most unique weddings I have ever seen in my career. My day started at one of Orlando’s top salons with stylist Amanda Stone, where Brigitte and her bridal party were pampered with glitz and glamour for her big day. As the bride got into her beautiful two piece gown, Joseph and his groomsmen were busy getting buttoned into their dapper grey suits not too far away.

The ceremony was held in the picturesque Mayan Chapel & Courtyard at the Maitland Arts Center. The intimate setting boats a romantic historical background, encapsulated by all the beauty Mother Nature has to offer.

As heartwarming as most weddings are, there is no greater feeling than that of a groom the first time he sees his bride. I was so happy to capture that moment, as Joseph’s eyes welled with tears as Brigitte walked down the aisle, you could feel the magnitude of the love he has for her. Needless to say, there was not a dry eye in the house! The pair exchanged vows under the setting Florida sun before their closest family and friends.

As the evening progressed, the festivities continued at the Osprey Tavern. The bride and her team did an incredible job of incorporating green-friendly decor into the venue, featuring beautiful baskets and fresh flowers. Each centerpiece was made by hand, and it was inspiring to see Brigitte encourage her guests to up-cycle the decorations and take them home as wedding favors. The guests laughed, danced, and celebrated this gorgeous couple all through the night, and I am certain it was an event everyone will remember for years to come.

Congratulations Brigitte & Joseph, I wish you a life together filled with love, romance and adoration.
